Rod 'Rochy T' Taylor Story

Rod Taylor has a well-deserved reputation as one of the most crucial roots reggae singers to emerge in the golden years of the 1970s.

Rod Taylor was born in Trench Town, Kingston. He cut his first tune "Bad Man Comes & Goes" for producer Ossie Hibbert in 1975. He has recorded a wealth of classic material for producers such as Bertram Brown, Prince Far I, Prince Hammer, Mikey Dread and many other tunes for several producers. Famous worldwide for his cultural hits "Ethiopian Kings" & "His Imperial Majesty". Rod "Rocky T" Taylor now lives in France.

He is working in a project with the French label Maguari Productions coming out in 2007. He is a complete artist, vocalist in reggae roots and soul, as well as dancehall and hip hop.
